@iMorialkar: Pfft. You love Scott Redmond.

"ALL OF THE WORDS IN THE RELEASE ARE STANDARDS-OF-ART IN THE INDUSTRY FOR PEER TO PEER SIP MESH NETWORKS." — I love how this guy argues against his work being techno-babble by using part of the definition of techno-babble. Techno-babble is industry terms thrown together in a word salad. What separates that from useful…
@comrade_leviathan: Probably true but irrelevant since Hef did not claim there would be an app.
Gotta love how Hef's tweets make no mention of an app, yet you claim to have been "snookered".
@NetDiva: FYI, if you add POP access to your various email accounts, you can reply from any of them regardless of which inbox you're using. Tricky part, because you're funneling through a single address, is choosing the right sending email address before you reply.
@Alec: Good, but you still have to reach into your pocket. My solution was a headphone control adapter from Griffin to move the controls outside my holster. Even works while the audio is streaming over Bluetooth. My older one lacks volume control but the current version has it.
@Moxxus: My CU issued a payout this December (if it were a for-profit organization, this would be called a dividend), due mainly to a windfall of mortgage refinancing. So nice to have my money in a non-profit CU, as opposed to a bank that's just trying to squeeze more money out of me.
@hockeybrad: You guys are both wrong. Debit fees are imposed on the payer. Credit fees are imposed on the payee. Unless your bank is offering some kind of waiver, you pay a fee of $1 or $2 when you pay by debit. When you pay by credit, the merchant pays the credit card company a percentage (varies with monthly…
@hockeybrad: Unless you set your credit limit below your normal cash levels (preferably much lower and within your spending budget), then you gain the benefits of credit card protection without the risk of spending money you don't have.
@hiddencountry: Look again. There does not seem to be a strap going up her right side.
I am disappointed that any scifi fans think that chemical composition listed in Superman Returns describes Kryptonite. The Kryptonite was within the meteor made of sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide with fluorine. The inside was Kryptonite not the outside. If it was that simple, Luthor would not have needed that…
@wjbean: Failed products and faked products are two different things.
@ThaMofo: Yep, just like when I sit on my deck with a mug of hot coffee on a cold winter day. A few minutes into it and my mug is dripping with condensation. Or maybe that's iced tea on a hot summer day. Eh, works both ways, right?
"Note that the above setup, while clever, will probably cause your heating bills to go up as the cold air is funneled into the room through the PC" — If so, you're obviously not working your PC hard enough to require this setup.
If you were a 37 year-old man named Jody Lynn, you'd be drunk and messed up too.
"The thought of a 250 pound person waving around a million volt stun gun is terrifying and incredible." — Until you see what a 250 lbs. person in need of a cane usually looks like. Still terrifying to an extent, but not so incredible.
@bdkennedy1002: I see the disconnect here. You've been able to control Apple TV to stream video from iTunes. This update performs that task from the other end, controlling the system from the iTunes end to output to Apple TV. There's not much practical difference if you have one Apple TV, but if you had two, I'd…
@AgentRockstar: Normally I do a couple things while on the toilet. If Angry Birds is the first, the other is #2.
@The Squalor and the Fury: Agreed. When the blue bird splits into three, its mass should be divided equally among the parts, yet there's no indication of that. And why does that big red bird launch as far as the others? The air drag on it should be much higher. So unrealistic.
@lowtolerance: If this was for the iPhone version, I might agree, except this is for Angry Birds HD, the iPad version that costs $4.99. Does that make $0.99 for the cheat (and included mini-game) a reasonable price?
