Clarence Thomas publishing his Christmas list of cases to reverse in his opinion on Roe takes a lot of the mystery out of what’s to come. It was like if Jason Voorhees published his schedule for the day on a Camp Crystal Lake bulletin board. It took the element of surprise away, but it’s no less menacing.

I’m not sure what the Democratic leadership CAN do, honestly.

Failing that there’s think tank jobs, lobbying jobs, she could run for the House in a district that likes Trump policies but may not like the insurrection, or failing that, state house (even narrower constituencies…

This would be fatal to any Democrat, and probably some Republicans. But for rank and file Republicans, and certainly for Donald Trump, it will be meaningless.
