Isn’t Tyrese under investigation by Child Services right now?
I would honestly like to know what *fraction* of a percent of our yearly military budget the Puerto Rico disaster response has cost so far. I’m betting it’s under .01%.
Report back after you’ve watched it! :)
Sold! (seriously, you’ve convinced me, and I have a day off tomorrow)
Well, you know, the real villains here are those greedy Puerto Ricans whose natural disaster has completely thrown our budget in disarray.
This is what running the government like a business is. The people at the very top using it as their piggy bank while fucking over everyone else
Can’t they just kill off Samantha? Start the movie with her wild and wacky funeral filled with pews and pews of former lovers, then move on to the rest of the gang grieving and learning to live with loss, then finally ending as they joyfully throw her ashes into the East River and drink champagne!
I dunno, is that required? What’s the accepted standard for going for C-section; do they have to wait for obvious and definite fetal distress, or are signs of impending distress acceptable?
I wonder if they had waited until definite distress, whether some lawyer be raking them over the coals for not being proactive.
I was in labor for 30+ hours before electing for a c-section. My baby was not in danger at that point and my doctor gave me the option to continue a few more hours. After 30 hours, I was exhausted from contractions every two minutes, I was literally strapped down because of hormone shakes and I was in tremendous…
well, keep in mind that “labor” in this case probably doesn’t mean the second (pushing) stage of labor. Early and active labor, during which the body prepares for delivery, can take days. Ask me how I know. :(
Not a medical pro, I just play one after watching too many medical procedural dramas on TV.
I think it’s rather telling that even the medical chart doesn’t clearly state the infant was in fetal distress:
The length of labor doesn’t really matter - it’s whether there’s fetal distress. The lawsuit claims that the patient wasn’t told that she needed a c-section because of danger to the baby, but rather because of the doctor’s timeline.
I think it’s notable that even the medical chart didn’t document any clear distress:
I wanted to have a VBAC with my second. I went into labor and immediately it was evident the baby wasn’t doing well (heart rate kept dropping). The doctor bluntly told me “You can continue labouring for several more hours and put your baby at risk or we can just do a repeat c-section now.” She was definitely pushing…
So are she and the baby okay and healthy? I can’t help but wonder if they had let her go through with the vaginal birth and something went wrong that they’d be dealing with a whole different lawsuit. I don’t know, can any of you superstars (not being sarcastic)who have hosted and birthed a whole new human speak to the…
I’m curious to see what other details about this case come out.
i’d love it if they did this sniping for a year, THEN someone made a documentary about it. i would watch that.
I do think it would have been interesting and awesome to have a 61 year old Samantha as a geriatric-ish sexual adventurer. People think oldsters have dusty junk and sit around playing cards but if you have spent any time around assisted living/nursing homes you find out meemaw and peepaw and their blue haired crew…
Instead of filming a third movie, I think they should just continue to hiss at each other on social media and in interviews for a while. It’s probably as embarrassing as a third movie would be, and like a final movie, I will still watch it.
