Every 14.7 PSI of boost effectively doubles the displacement. So if that 2.3L motor is running 14.7 PSI, it’s technically a 4.6. Turbos have, for all intents and purposes, the same effect on power as adding displacement. So the old adage, “there’s no replacement for displacement” holds true.

The turbos are waaaaay more responsible than the manual for making this car interesting and fast. Don’t get me wrong, the manual is awesome, but without the turbos it’s “just” an R8.

That’s kind of where I’m at on Corvettes: the C6 Z06 is my second favorite car (behind the ‘69 Camaro) and they’re just starting to become truly affordable...but if C7s are getting cheap already, it would be very hard to drop the same amount of money on a much older car with more miles. That takes me back to C6 Z06s…
