I love this fantasy from Clintonistas that most of the attacks against Clinton were because of sexism and not her numerous failings.

He’s lost.
You don’t know where it came from, so it came from Clinton?
What has Sanders proposed to do in response to the civil war in Syria? This isn’t intended as snark; I just went to feelthebern.org and couldn’t find any concrete proposals. There’s language about the importance of coalition building and defeating ISIS and phasing out Asad, but I don’t see that Clinton disagrees with…
If that’s the standard, it must mean you don’t feel too badly about everyone who’s died in Afghanistan and otherwise in the so-called war on terror since Bernie voted for the AUMF that authorized those actions.
I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying, and I think all of us in this conversation is VERY aware of keeping that guy out of the White House. Shit, I’d vote for a block of stinky cheese at this point if that meant Trump wouldn’t become our next president.
The origin of the term Bernie Bro is a media conspiracy now?
My point is: better to have someone with foreign policy experience and who was Secretary of State handle the potential handling of Syria than someone with zero foreign policy experience. Regardless of what you think of her.
You have no insight into how I feel about Clinton’s support for the Iraq war, so not sure how you think you’re in a position to judge my emotions about it as compared to my emotions about the narratives surrounding Sanders’ campaign.
He never called him an idiot. He said he used misrepresentation to justify his supporters’ use of misogyny and threats of violence. Bernie’s supporters were violent. They physically attacked Trump supporters outside rallys and blocked their vehicles on roads to berate them and sometimes damage their vehicles.
The white males I know who are supporting Hillary are legit allies I’ve noticed. It warms my cold, “neoliberal” heart.
First, I never said Bernie supporters are misogynists. I said some are, just as I’m sure some Hillary supporters are antisemitic.
And as a millennial HRC supporter Bernie’s stans are the most immature assholes on my social media. I’ve never seen so many people fighting with each other over who has the most progressive cred.
Everyone has talked at length about the Iraq war. If the top comment here had been about the Iraq war instead of how the “narrative” around Bernie has changed, we’d be talking about that.
She’s been doing that. He’s resisting, still.
I shudder at the prospect of Sanders handling such a thing. And forget Trump.
This. I’ve been mansplained by white male Bernie supporters more times than I can count. My white male friends who support Hillary are gay and/or worked on her campaign back in 2008.
That’s interesting, because Bernie supporters were the most condescending assholes on any social media feed I had. It’s all relative.
Hahahahaha, you think Republicans are going to get their shit together in 4-years, in a country with demographics rapidly shifting away from white men? That’s adorable. Look at who their base just chose as a candidate. Also, extremely odd that you think somehow the Republican nominee selected by today’s party would be…
Me too, while my man didn’t win I know that my ire against the system I have personally doesn’t come close to my desire to get that orange primate away from the White House this election season!
