I had a very harsh response to its use here. I can’t tell if Lutkin thinks Williams really imagined she was being shady and she’s making fun of her or if there’s some other joke I’m missing, but from where I’m sitting, Williams is complimenting the movie while teasing her husband and not even staking out an official…

I take out the trash in my household, and I do the lawn. My husband does the dishes. I think it’s a pretty sweet deal, since yard work only has to be done every week or two, and garbage only has to go out once or twice a week, but dishes have to be done EVERY DAY.

Yeah. I guess I’m feeling very cynical these days about some types of protesting. This could be because I am getting old? Jaded? Those eight years of Bush really sucked.

No snark, this tool (well not sure this one but functional equivalent) has changed my life. I can now screw and unscrew damn near anything.

I haven’t seen “wimmin” but I’ve met one girl at a party who prefers “womyn”. So maybe that’s this generation’s take?

I don’t know if it’s as much a fantasy as it is “reality” for them. They actally do think they’re persecuted and that we’re chasing them to the margins of society. Lol. If only.

I protested like this a long time ago and I think I've become cynical since then. Nothing really changed. I voted for Ralph Nader which felt so rebellious. But then Gore lost and we had 8 years of Bush. 8 years. That's enough to whip any young over zealous hippie back into line.
