Ha! My son used to not be able to lift anything. Then at Christmas when i was struggling to pick up the tree and carry it in the house he suddenly grabbed it and picked it up like it was nothing. It was awesome.

I use my resident man (my 14 year old son) to get stuff stored in low spots. Because if i bend down, there’s no guarantee I’m ever getting up again.

Getting arrested at protests is a planned thing in DC. Starting in the 80s my aunt was an active union member, president of a federal sector union, and then worked for SEIU. She got arrested at protests several times. The protesters expect it. It’s almost like theater.

Great idea! I JUST started my job last monday and haven’t been able to get signed up for health insurance yet so i don’t have access to my potential providers right now (aside from general internet searches i guess) but that will definitely go on my list of things to do.

I have a lifelong history of depression and insomnia, so for years i took otc meds for sleep, and when those stopped i switched to ambien. Eventually that became a bit of a nightmare, and stopped working anyway, so now i just don’t sleep a lot.
