So you’re there for tourists? That sucks BALLS.

Man, there is no fucking way we’re leaving the house for good long while. I cannot even begin to believe what it looks like outside my doors. I’m not currently working, so i don’t have to be anywhere; until the maintenance guys can get around well enough to come and clear the walks, I’m staying in.

Your granny is cute!

I’m doing it now!!!

I will do it in spades, because a few weeks ago I asked a bunch of strangers elsewhere for the same thing . . . And I’ll be damned if it didn’t work!

“As a Bostonian, I am very glad to see other people getting lots of snow.”

Report him. NOW. And be very aware of your surroundings.

What if you just said very firmly “dude, don’t ever go there again.” Period. And if he questions you say “you’re going there. I told you not to. I’m done talking about this.”

That’s a great idea!

I have actually seen people make a very similar, complicated, but ultimately bullshit argument on gawker. Either that or the whiny “if Bernie doesn’t get nominated I’m not voting at all.”

Ditto.

I only occasionally get troll comments on jezebel, depending on the topic i’m commenting on. I do not think it’s normal to get trolled that much here, although maybe a little more on articles shared with gawker.

So sorry for your loss.

I used to be a voracious reader, and I read a TON of books set in foreign locations, some originally written in english and some translated. I would get hooked on one country, then another, then move on to another, etc.

Wow - I had no idea that stuff goes on at places like banfield. Terribly scary, and good to know.

1) FIV is not a death sentence. My cat was diagnosed when she was 9; she’s now 14 and has had no long-term problems. I was told there was no real treatment (certainly none I could have afforded then or now), but that I should minimize her stress (I have an ADHD kid so that’s been virtually impossible). She got a nasty

“The odd thing is when I do see her in person she’s incredibly different! No arguing, no being dismissive, no drama.”

I don’t know if these are considered classics or not, but these are some older books:

I personally have always liked her but she has made that very very difficult lately. And these comments were horrible.

I hate that ring. Two teeny little baguettes flanking an enormous stone 35 times* bigger than each? Make them proportionate to one another and it would be okay, but the way it is now it just looks like a $10 million piece of costume jewelry. Bigger isn’t always better.
