The problem with gated communities is that you ALWAYS get busybody assholes in it. the charter needs to be written that it can never be changed or amended. The #1 problem with HOA’s is the old bored assholes that are walking around measuring peoples’ grass and bitching about everything.

HOA fees go to the maintenance of the test track, chassis dyno, and to fund a lending specialty tool exchange. Like a neighborhood library but for tools you might need once every few years.

You should see my neighborhood, I basically live in Jalopnia already. On a nice summer evening, it’s not uncommon to see 2 or 3 people per block out wrenching. My neighbor actually cheers when we start some of our louder cars.
Hell this could be an awesome idea for a gated community, there are already golf course communities, communities with pools, tennis courts, etc... A community with a shared car shop with lifts, tools, and stuff would be an awesome place to live in.

This deserves more stars. When people stop in the middle of the road to let jay walker by, things get nasty and rear ending can happen, Same for all other courtesy.
If that is the case the dashcam owner practices backwards courtesy which is a leading cause of congestion, annoyance, and collisions. Backward courtesy is where the person practicing it decides to be nice to person A at the expense of person B instead of following the written rules of the road.
