I went to PAX West this year, which is huge and widly popular... it was complete trash. No reps for any major devs at all. Never even touched a current gen console. It was embarrassing. They should cancel them all until they are able to have the showcases come out, change the format, or charge considerably less for

I’ve corrected people who’ve said I “eat healthy”. I hate that term. I don’t even know that is even true (I don’t eat processed foods or added sugar), I just made a personal lifestyle change to do what works for my body at my age. I’m not sure these people realize I could very well die of a heart attack next week.

Never understood why this blatantly racist, 1% Black state even has an NBA team while Seattle, one of the most diverse cities in America, does not.

... or when your store across the street closes an hour early for no reason. Also, how in the hell are you getting a Honey Almondmilk Flat White??? Those have been unavailable in the greater Seattle area for most of 2021!

Knowing that this show doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell to be as great as the original, it’s a lot easier to just appreciate a project by a bunch of people who just love Bebop. There’s a fan film cheesiness to it that I kinda dig. I think their hearts are in the right place, trying to do right by the original,

He’s not wrong at all. I think it’s a pretty fair and honest critique. And there’s a majority out there who have become zombies. I think AV Club even failed to call out the obvious formula in their last MCU movie review.

Funny how this highlights the experiences of women in their 20's. There are universal rules in dating sure, but my experience as an older POC man is like the bizarro dating world of a young, single female.

Same. It’s a remake, there will be changes and improvements made where they make sense and I'm all for it. I’m just hoping Aspyr is good at remaking this game, not just porting it.

... and because of those facts, us Blazers fans want no part of this dude. Media, please stop.

“I will admit, I died a few times before getting the hang of Panther’s powers”

Cool, I thought I was the only one. This was by far the largest beginner’s ass-whooping I took between all the characters in this game.

This should have been the way to go all along. They’d be doing great critically if they had just focused on giving us tight, story-driven games. I’d have forked over my money for an ongoing series of paid episodes of this, Telltale Walking Dead style.

“Still Standing” is probably his masterpiece, he did that after The Last Stand. I’ve followed Damon pretty much his whole career, 15 minute sets on old HBO specials... well before In Living Color came out. The TV and movie stuff are all good and well, but let me tell you he was one of the most dangerous stand-up

Nicki and Lil’ Kim come from two different generations, so I’m not sure if this matchup makes too much sense given that fact.”

Not hating on T-Pain (however I do hate me some Usher!) but Roger Troutman does NOT use auto-tune. Zapp and them brought us those hits by way of the talk box. Which most importantly requires input from a skilled musician, usually a keyboardist or guitarist. Auto-tune has only really been around since the late 90's.

Timbo vs Pharrell is the only Verzuz that really matters. Swizz already got dealt with in the first battle, he got a whole list of new songs now? Lets get another heavyweight in the ring please!

Yes, most importantly using a vocoder or even a talk box like Zapp or say Peter Frampton (same sound, different process) require being skilled with a synth or some kind of instrument. Auto-tune just takes a signal and outputs it... you don’t necessarily even need a great singing voice or instrument for auto-tune.

Yep, the last-minute rewrites surrounding the flag-smasher plot was all I could think about throughout the show. There’s a lot of dubbed scenes in the series, for instance. But I think they did a pretty good job considering. I’m just grateful for the format allowing us to spend more time with mostly ensemble action

Boys II Men is the obvious contender, even if they catch an L in the end. If they’re smart they schedule that bout around the holidays and catch Jodeci slipping on their Christmas album game.

Right, Black Panther is a mantle that is meant to be passed on (I don’t think the word “replaced” is as apropos). Not necessarily from father to son either. Its a simple solution really, I don’t know why we would need to specifically recast T’Challa at all or what these people are thinking.
