I don’t even understand why someone would dare do so. Why not use the serialized format to fill in the missing pieces of that world and its story? This is kind of a letdown.

What I remember most about seeing this movie opening weekend during our college break and returning to art school. I would run into my friends I hadn’t seen since finals ended weeks ago. Instead of saying “hi” or asking how our break was, we would instantly shout in each other’s faces “OMYGODDIDYOUSEETHEMATRIX???”

I don’t recall the trailer I saw being that revealing. I watched it opening weekend in a theater by myself. Very curious, but maybe more so from the spoiler-free review I read the day before. I still had no effing idea... sitting in that dark theater, credits rolling with my jaw lying on the floor.
