There are also people like myself, who have a ton of experience in GTAO and were holding out hope that given the nature of RDR, things might be a little different in this world. We all do need to remember that we are VERY early in the game. Today’s GTAO isn’t the game it was when it first launched.

Damn, chip damage, i never even thought of that (to the feedback button!). To some of your replies, the notion that I HAVE to have a buddy or group of buddies to even survive in this world is rigoddamndiculous. So should I be forced to find a friend so I can be like, “Hey, bro. Watch my back while I catch these fish.”

“Ow, you hit me right on the head!” - Nail

Those are missions. What the main issue stems from is being randomly shot in the head when you are trying to fish, or being repeatedly murdered on your way to the store to buy a damn shirt.

I fully agree (not necessarily with lambasting this article). A good movie trumps all these so called trends. I’ve always said regardless of anything else, if you “just make it fucking good” none of these trends, categorizations or demographics matter. There was an audience wary of zombie movies, myself included, then

I’ve heard on multiple accounts, long before Infinity War, Hugo was pretty much like “I’ll never do that shit again”. Sad, because I look back at him flossing that Red Skull makeup and I love every bit of it.

Oh, damn, you just slapped me in the face with a time warp. I forgot all about that movie.

At least the sequel isn’t as buttf*ckery as the first Destiny, where the purchase points had people re-buying the game multiple times ... even after you bought the season pass!. I learned my lesson and just got a fat bundle on the cheap a couple weeks ago. I may not outlive the hours of gameplay I have in front of me

I feel like the stealth / free roaming of this game and the tactical / crew management of XCOM 2 need to have a baby. I’ll be the pappy.

I just read that in another article. I went from not going to play it, to creating space for it next month!

Not really tho. Look at the sales, the demographic is damn near everybody under the sun. Old fogies like me have all been playing Rockstar games for the past 16 years, they didn’t become worse with GTA 5 or RDR2, they grew, advanced and expanded with us. The online element is something different entirely. I’m only

No they won’t. Unless they plan on launching a subset of adult-oriented programming. At best they will reboot some of these characters down the road. But the tone of the Netflix shows are way off from what Disney is trying to do. No church murders or power-drilled feet here, I don’t think.

Yep, these shows are expensive to shoot (on location, not Atlanta or Vancouver) and Netflix has to pay a distribution fee on top of that to what will soon be a direct competitor. That part makes sense. But they did have a niche market, their own adult, connected universe that will never be duplicated. I’ll be

Exactly. I don’t know why people are assuming these shows just go straight to the Disney service. Disney didn’t even want these shows to cancel in the first place.

I’ve asked this before, but I don’t know if Rockstar is trolling us or is sincerely out of touch.

My Christ, I could write a book on every dev touting their online games with “___ with your friends”. Where are these 40+ year old people I know down to posse up at the drop of a hat? Or happen to be playing the exact same game on the exact same platform at the exact same time as I am? Being forced into matchmaking is

This movie probably lost half of its already paltry audience with the unnecessary “this is not your grandfather’s Robin Hood story” drubbing. I would have been much more sold on this movie if they had just replaced all the intro’s exposition with “The year is 2137...

A Knights Tale was 100% deliberate. It was a decision made from the start to implement those modern musical elements. Like Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur, it knows what it is. It feels like Robin Hood isn’t always in on the joke. It might have done itself some service if it leaned into it even harder, honestly.

I’ve always wanted this. Not watered down, but with all the seedy bits included. When do us adults get a turn???

I treaded carefully enough to miss it in the article... the article that was talking about the upcoming movies. I knew enough about plenty of deaths on the show otherwise, just not Jesus.
