I never really got the Supra craze either.  Wasn’t the best handling car I’ve heard, and the ones that made huge power seemed to have issues putting it down.  If I won the lotto I’d spend that money on a late model original NSX or something from Stuttgart.

Supra annoying.

Because 95% of the people that will buy it won’t care what’s under the hood. It’s the badge that’s on the hood that counts to them the most!

Once you factor in the basics like insurance and registration, no car comes out ahead.

It plays into the insecurities of a certain small subset of Tesla owners, I think.

It’s not. But it’s polarizing and divisive so journalists bloggers are all over it.

A potentially easier option that is less likely to result in fisticuffs with a wifebeater-wearing Teddy Brosevelt would be to block the truck in with the car and use an extension cord to reach the charging station.

Is this a made up problem? Other than the only actual picture of one event, how prevalent is this?

Very light hybrid that gets only slightly better mileage city than most current trucks and worse mpg highway than most current trucks.  This F150 is supposed to be a more serious effort.

How can we get a check on the power of the IIHS? It’s really out of hand. And now they’re making it obligatory to blind other drivers if you want the coveted stars.

In for bob is the oil guy thread on this.

Not suspected. The back of the bottle literally says bottled by Warren Distribution on it.

Future, or the past? It feels like Amazon is basically the modern Sears & Roebuck catalog...

Just without, you know, guns (yet?)

He sounds like a good dad. You sound like a so-so dad, what with all the gambling of your son’s Christmas gifts.

This is going to turn into an oil thread. I bet you my son’s Christmas gifts it will.

Label says “Warren Distribution”. A quick search says it is the same folks behind WalMart Super Tech.

Jed Clampett’s brand.

So you wrote this WHOLE THING and couldn’t be dicked to try and figure out who Amazon contracted to actually make these products? God damn

I still think the best deal on good quality full synthetic oil is 5qt Mobil 1 at Walmart for $23 with a $12 Mobil 1 rebate.
