My favorite female artist was Artemisia Gentileschi. She painted some awesome stuff from a female point of view.

Just like half a century ago, we will drag these people into progress kicking and screaming if we have to. We don’t negotiate with terrorists or temper tantrums.

This is so true, I had a few intentional (small scale, but more importantly, affordable) intentional living experiences after college. Living in community is awesome, when done well, this is essential a Dorm 2.0. They are pushing a similar-ish thing in Seattle, the Apodment, slap me. Again, for wealthy tech-workers

Sharing an apt. is one thing. This sounds like a glorified flop house.

Since Sarandon isn’t going to suffer the most consequences under the Trump presidency, or for that matter under any general breakdown of society, I would kindly request that she not opine about revolutions here. (Also, as bad as Trump would be, I don’t see “revolution” really being a possibility here. Protests? Sure.

This is such a wildly privileged opinion. Real people will get hurt under Trump. SCOTUS will be changed. Laws will be passed. The military will be deployed, affecting people around the globe. I get that you want a different political system but this is the one we live in. Don’t throw others under the bus in your quest

I like when rich people talk about revolution. Because they’re in no way going to retreat to their gated and guarded communities when shit gets real.

Once again, for the record.

He really is showing his white, male savior card in this race. “I have the answer, I will save this country.” Yeah, these hundreds, possibly thousands, of candidates and their staff didn’t think of bettering the lives of Americans...

That sucks to see. Truly, I am not a die hard Clinton fan, though I do skew a bit more toward her. There are things about her I can’t stand, just like there are things about Sander’s I can’t stand. Articles like this irritate the shit out of me, which I think is probably something I’m allowed to feel. It, to me, is

The Democratic base is voting overwhelmingly for Hillary in the primaries, so what makes you think we will not turn out for her in the general?

I agree. I appreciated that he wants to highlight the injustices of the world, but he seems to want to ignore how the world actually works. Like he wouldn’t do the same fundraiser if given the chance. He’s so fucking high on his own message that he’s starting to come across as an egoist. Its exhausting.

What the fuck has bernie sanders ever done for the DNC and the rest of the democratic down ticket candidates in his entire shit shoveling lifetime ?

Of course. Also, Bernie Sanders, the great Truth Teller, is being disingenuous here. George Clooney is not a Super PAC. He’s a liberal Democrat who’s supporting Hillary this year. Bernie probably doesn’t realize that, since he’s not actually a member of the Democratic party.

This money is for down the ballot, you moron. Most of the funds go to other progressives in the race. Check it out yourself. Why would anyone not support that?!? You can’t have your little “revolution” without getting people elected down the ballot. Holy shitsticks.

Oh good lord, seriously? People can do what they want with their money. Jeez.

Also, money is not inherently bad. It’s part of how the system works. Sometimes it corrupts, but not *always*. Congress got even worse when earmarks went away, because negotiation got that much more difficult. Money can also help a lot of people.

Sanders really is showing to be a huge fucking asshole isn’t he? Typical white guy is what I say. Stomping his feet when he doesn’t get his way.

Yes, I somehow feel that if said fundraiser was held for The Bern, he would no longer find it obscene in the least. Gawd. It’s not like Clooney is holding a Punch An Orphan fundraiser.

Thank you. This entire slant is fucking idiotic.
