I am also a Murderino and I recommend the Hulu show “The Path” for cult-y goodness. It centers around a fictional cult that borrows a lot from Scientology. It’s a pretty fantastic show.

I work with documentary filmmakers and they take FOREVER too. To make the film, to get funding, to finish post, etc...it’s a long slog. I have one filmmaking team I’ve been following up with for 3-4 years and when I started speaking with them, the film was 1/2 shot already. It’s still not ready for final post.

I played a few seasons in an adult league that used those balls. It was brutal. Every season I spent at least 3 weeks with a dodgeball shaped bruise on a thigh from a perfectly placed hit. We had a guy on our team who’d played minor league baseball.

I really enjoyed the first podcast and now I’m really looking forward the the second.

There’s a Neflix show called “Captive” that did an episode on an Ohio prison riot in which a number of guards were taken captive. It was a great watch, albeit a disturbing one.
