I realized something the other day. Everytime I walk up to my car or see my car from a distance, I always have a smile on my face because I know how just how beautiful, how perfect my baby is. I am reminded of how much I love driving it and how good it feels to drive every time I look at it. Especially when it's…
The last couple of days for me have been filled with pictures and articles of cars that produce so much want. From my Road & Track magazine (which, by the way, has such an amazing cover), an article on Speedhunters about the 997 RS 4.0, to a pristine NSX on sale that I just saw on Oppo. But they all just seem out of…
Not the best drifts obviously but it's something :)
I know I'm kind of late but here's my Miata and I with a little bit of oppo :)
I'd like to know the Opponauts of the NYC area and Long Island! Please comment and say hello! Maybe we can organize a cars and coffee since NYC doesn't have one ANYWHERE. I'd love to meet all of you and your rides!
Back in August, I made a post stating that I've decided to get a Miata. Travis Okulski commented on it saying "good choice!" I said that it'll take me a couple years but its been four months and.... I bought it.
I have a 2000 Sentra SE, manual. It has about 169,000 miles and as far as I know, the clutch doesn't seem to have ever been replaced.
I want this as reference for what NOT to do to, ever.
I've seen some stupid driving on the road and been in cars where there was a whole lot of stupid driving going on. But today, I was the stupid one. At least I think I was. So please listen to my story and help me feel a little better!
An amazing video by Format 67 paying tribute to the Acura NSX and Ayrton Senna.
I love coming across driving or racing videos on YouTube where there's a camera pointed on the drivers foot. You can see all the shifting and heel-toe action. It's so much better that way and I wish more driving videos had it. Most of the videos that have it are from some Japanese TV shows, I guess.
Would you like to know what they are?
And they were good students!
I don't know how it was watching the greats like Nikki Lauda or Ayrton Senna do their magic around the racetrack but I can't help thinking that while people were watching them, they didn't realize just how amazing those drivers were and how they would go down in history.
THAT'S IT I've made my decision.
Enjoy a few pictures from my road trip to Hawk's Nest last week. Most of these pictures are from the main part of the route; the short set of twisties. The whole reason why I wanted to go on the trip in the first place.
Today is the last day to apply for the Editorial Fellow position for Jalopnik, right?
Btw, this is my first post on Oppo!
