Isn’t this show set in Indiana? So this is actually realistic — very few people would have been up to date with the absolute latest fashions. It’s much more realistic for a show set in 1985 to have people sporting 1983 or 1981 looks that are a little out of date, just like anything set in the early 70s should have a

The series has always walked a trepidatious minefield between homage, pastiche, and warmed up leftovers. I think it’s worked way more than it hasn’t and the Duffer’s most impressive feats are nailing the aesthetic, that hits those nostalgia buttons with full force, and getting an amazing cast that makes almost

Did I beat the Kirby fanatics from telling us how Kirby was abused far worse (and far better!) and this is just Lee stealing from him one last time?

I mean, this is truly awful. At least he’s at peace now, but burn these scumbags to the ground for what they thought they got away with.

Well this is just the tonic, I was feeling entirely too cheerful today.

Taken a step further with Scott and Hawkeye: Endgame also shows two sides of experiencing that tragedy with the two of them. When Scott pops back to “Five Years Later” World, we get to experience his confusion, then panic, and finally impossible levels of relief when he is reunited with his (now much older) daughter.

So if we’re talking about post-credit (mid-credit) stingers (well someone is, maybe just me) I thought Captain Marvel’s was good, and also kinda unique. Natasha and Steve are talking about the beeper Fury managed to set off at the end of Infinity War. It’s stopped transmitting, then suddenly Carol shows up with

They spoil the first 60 seconds.

What I liked about the Endgame opening and the Ant-Man and the Wasp credits sequence was that it reminds you that even though there is a big-ass battle going on in one particular place on Earth, many, many people elsewhere on the planet are completely oblivious to it. For most people on Earth and in the rest of the

The way I think about it is that Stephen Strange saw, what, 14 million possible futures playing out and only one of them panned out for the heroes.

Which I find to be maybe one of the most effective openers in the MCU films That cold open coupled with the opening dance sequence are immediately set up why Quill’s the stunted manchild that he is.

The scene still worked though.

Everyone in the theater knew Clint’s daughter was a goner from the first trailer.

Hawkeye doesn’t get enough love. I’d totally be down for a spin-off showing him taking down Cartels and shit.

I found it interesting that Endgame opened with Hawkeye, who is arguably the most relatable ‘human’ character, in that he has no powers and actually has a family (Black Widow has no powers either, but she’s been built up as this intriguing, bad-ass leader, whereas Clint is constantly joking about being outside of his

The second the scene started I knew the snap would be happening, and it filled me with dread the whole scene. It was amazingly done. It also helped Clint was actually *part* of the family, on a much closer level than he was in Ultron. Nothing bonds a family like house arrest.

It reminded me more of the beginning of Guardians, where we unexpectedly start with Quill’s mom dying of cancer.

I think people managed to ignore or forget that both sisters have business degrees. They are all of us who have educations and great products/ideas/work ethics, but no money to get something good off the ground.

Seriously. The worst thing that can happen at this point is they decide not to continue bottling their bbq sauce. They have a beautiful restaurant that is now easier to work in and maintain. That, in itself, is a big win.

There is an article floating around the internet somewhere about stuff that was not shown in previous episodes. Like, in one case, Karamo helping a guy edit his resume and driving him to a job interview. With the first guy, they showed Antoni teaching him to make guacamole but did not show Antoni helping him
