Oh, my god. I really really want Mark Baden to be my pilot for everything.

Thank you. Good god, those are both really impressive. If I ever go to Saba it'll be on a boat.
Good catch!
I know, I know. It just had never occurred to me! His presence is so strong I can't imagine him as a kid.
I grew up not that far from West (though I left Texas a long time ago) and of course the Czech Stop is on my must-pull-over list. I've been following the Facebook feed of the Somervell County volunteer fire department - who drove down at around midnight and have been doing search and rescue ever since. It sounds…
Once I heard the judge was from out of town, I figured they wouldn't walk. But ... I don't know the juvenile sentencing guidelines in Ohio, so don't know if he went easy on them or not.
Holy heck. Sympathy flailing over here.
Join the club. Tissues!
Er - in case this isn't obvious, the gif I posted is, in fact, BC's hand.
Ah. Thank you for clearing that up. I'll happily watch the first nine minutes before "The Hobbit," and then watch the regular trailer at home.
Color me convinced (until the next truly plausible theory).
Am so looking forward to this. I get why some longstanding fans are unhappy, but there's so much that could go right. Am reminded of Julian Sands playing Franz Liszt in "Impromptu," listening to a long angry rant by his mistress and finally replying, "It sounds like FUN to me."
The FULL full trailer will only play before IMAX 3D showings of "The Hobbit." Massive 3D-induced headache, here I come.
What year does Apophis make its second pass?
You haven't encountered Pinchbeck? Oh, you lucky person.
We subscribe only to basic cable so we have a ton of dead channels - usually just black, occasionally gray and static-y. No blue so far.
I am WAY too excited about this movie. And I agree with RedCrown - a particularly good trailer, because it puts us into the middle of the adventure rather than focusing on Bilbo's initial reluctance to join in.
Excellent point. I'm old enough to think of a "dead channel" as gray, but of course future readers won't do so.
