I’m assuming Alex works at Mattel. I was there for about 10 years. You can’t imagine the cool stuff that would show up in the parking lots.

Obviously these type of dealership do not believe in long term relationship. They will be the first one to cry over direct selling model like Tesla, which hopefully become more popular down the road.

Asked my sales guy yesterday about this. Said they sell at MSRP and usually don’t get anything in writing, but could get something in writing if I wanted.

Usually, this would feel pedantic but since this is Jalopnik ...

But do you shop open mindedly and look for deals?

Normal dollies couldn’t get the Tesla off the pedestal this owner keeps it on.

From left to right; dad, passenger, driver. Driver and passenger are wearing matching work shirts. I bet driver works for dad’s business and they were “working” at the time of the accident. I can’t wait to find out who they are.

Who the fuck pissed in your cheerios?

If you don’t like cars the way I like cars, you aren’t an enthusiast.

Too accessible? Ok, I’ll bite. Most people today have not had the opportunity to drive an old ‘60's car outfitted with the largest available engine, but when I got my ‘68 Chrysler New Yorker with the 440, it was a real eye opener, me being used to common 90's cars. 350hp, but 465 ft-lbs of torque standard. Got to find ways to pretend the problem is abuse of the system and not the circumstances that lead to it being used in the first place. Classic misdirection
