Agreed. As that was the most obvious shot in the movie, I thought they did a pretty bad job of it. However after watching the video above I realize they did an incredible job as I had no idea they had to resort to this in many more scenes that I hadn’t even noticed.

I have the ecoboost, and the poor mileage is the only negative about the car. It is a 5000lb brick after all. Primarily city driving, we average around 16-17mpg per the computer. A recent interstate road-trip saw 19.5mpg (I might have hit 20 once).

I agree with you in concept, however you forget that absolutely no one currently has a gas station sitting in their garage/carport, but they could theoretically have access to a charger there.
