Having a mental health condition doesn’t make you an a***hole. Being an a**hole makes you an a**hole. My sister is bipolar; she is self-aware and caring, because she is a non-a**hole. My former roommate is also bipolar; she was abusive and inappropriate, because she was an a**hole.
Right? I felt totally crazy scrolling through these replies. The only difference between this person and her friend seems to be that the author has an Internet platform where she can memorialize her account / reactive rage. I'm all for phasing out friendships that are no longer healthy, but you can....just phase it…
We disagree on attractiveness.
I’m white, and I enjoy a buttload of white sugar packets and cream in my dunkin donuts iced coffee...
That's probably true. It didn't justify spending 4x the money though.
Such is life. I don’t buy lulu but I have heard the same complaint from ex fans of their stuff. If you’re gonna charge $90 for leggings they’d better be real good. And if you decide to take another look at old navy, I recommend the high rise leggings - lots of support and you won't find yourself hiking them up,…
Seriously. I was told lulu would change my life so I went on a whim and tried on some crazy $90 pair of leggings. Could barely tell the difference between them and the old navy wear I have currently. Not worth the $70 extra bucks.
Oh no! I actually first liked their stuff because they have a reinforced crotch-al area that I think prevents cameltoe on me at least. I absolutely hate h&m and forever 21 leggings for that reason....no crotch area and huge cameltoe. Have you shopped their active line recently? It's gotten great in the past year.
looks like people up and realized old navy athletic wear exists.
being good with money and having value is totally something you can teach regardless of net worth, i think.
I wonder too the differentiation between clinical, brain-chemistry based depression and emotional depression that stems from having been dealt a crappy hand in life. if you’re impoverished and non-white or non-male, you’re just getting sh*t on constantly in the way that dominant groups simply are not. so when they…
1985 video to celebrate her 20th bday? It's 2015 and she's 60. Methinks that ain’t math.
id take it a step further and say it’s not JUST about being cool with yourself and feeling neutral, it’s about actively working to have empathy for other women in place of competing. that’s usually the best antidote to self-absorption, self-consciousness, and envy - true empathy for other people.
I get all that. The whole “missing them at the airport" makes sense enough, it's the following two days of wandering in New York City that feels like the exceptional part to me.
Yeah....it’s not like New York City police lack experience with homeless people. It seems highly unlikely that police working airport security (who are probably doubly familiar with language barriers) would confuse an otherwise normally-functioning adult as homeless, even the lack of English and lack of visible…
This article was updated to address his drug problem and circumstances since I posted that.
Something here doesn’t add up. It seems very suspect that he would be thrown out of JFK for lack of communication; being mistaken for homeless is not like a natural progression of simply a language barrier. Did he have any possessions? A phone? Did he show up without a passport or any stuff? It’s all very odd. I feel…
I was in your shoes. On bcp, got paragard. The insertion was incredibly painful and sex was painful thereafter. I had the mental block of feeling weird that it was there during sex too. had it removed in less than a year. I have not done Mirena so can't speak to that. Not trying to scare you - everyone's experience is…
