Personally I enjoyed K2, but Everest was a much harder climb.

I would argue that the Mazdaspeed6 was not the STI-for-grownups.  That honor goes to the Legacy GT and Spec B.  The LGT was available with the speedy motor with a wagon, where the Speed6 was only available in sedan form.
