I agree, I really like the 2002-2008 but would be happy with any from 98-08. My personal favorite is the 06-07 FXT.

I believe you insert a fuse on the right side of the engine bay to deactivate AWD. There's a little black cover with FWD written on it. But yes, Subies are wonderful cars.
