C.H.O.M.P.S.! I loved that movie when I was a kid. I wonder if it holds up.

Interesting how they manage to pick all such classics (although missed Mad Max 2 and The Secrets of NIMH).
This was also the summer of Firefox, Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Zapped!, Beastmaster, Megaforce, The House Where Evil Dwells and Conan. If they’d put those in the clip it might well have seemed like a summer of guilty…

Don’t forget about Q(just rewatched it this week), The Dark Crystal, Conan the Barbarian, The Beastmaster and of course, the greatest sci-fi film ever... containing spandex, Megaforce.

Sad Conan is sad.

The whole early 80s was awesome. Man, I miss Starlog and Omni magazines.

It was a great year to be 9 years old.

Whatever they do, Han Solo should be in the very first shot of the film. We definitely should have a Han shot first.
