Yeah, those mixes are crazy and I need to give all those another chance to sink in on me.  Sometimes what throws me in his mixes is that Madlib usually isn't concerned with blending or transitions, it's more a tour through his crate with jarring cuts from one thing to the next.  But goddamn what a crate that guy has-

I would start with 12-13, which are rap remixes with some pretty wild and creative madlib beats. The rest are a pretty mixed bag - original production and rare vinyl mixes that mostly I haven't listened to more than once (even the reggae mix on vol.4 is way outshined by Blunted in the Bomb Shelter).
