The TAMI Show movie has some great harmonies from these guys.  The falsetto surfer sound does seem hard to pull off- especially if not being able to hear each other on stage which I'm sure was the case at many shows.
Anyway, they pretty much nail it here:

Bucket of Blood still holds up as a really funny comedy about beatnik culture.  The Corman crowd attracted a lot of genuine weirdos, so the cafe/art gallery in the movie is populated with some memorable characters.

What - Jethro Tull isn't metal?  Next you'll tell me that Skrillex isn't the best new artist.

The videotape version I got from a friend was called "Frontman" for whatever reason,  but yeah there sure is a lot of sad funny going on in this film.  The crazy pulley system for the amps is unforgettable, and the reveal of the self-built electric/acoustic guitar towards the end is just one of the greatest things

I teach high school English and I've never heard my students gush about anybody like they do this Skrillrex guy.  He needs to get off my lawn pronto.

"He was a towering hunk of sentient vegetation; she was a sensitive
hippie with snow-white hair and an open-minded attitude regarding the

"Oh, I have wasted my life."

The story goes that during the filming of Flatliners, Julia and Keifer went to see the Ramones, and Julia hit on CJ Ramone backstage, asking him out to a bar later.  All was cut short when Keifer got knocked silly in the pit during the show and Julia had to go take care of him.  Not sure what this has to do with

Memories
Probably like lots of folks who love this film, I was in college when it came out, already loved the Coens, and was on many substances when I saw it. The first time viewing the Jesus scene in the theater… oh man, just such a great experience I get misty even thinking about it. Hands down the film of our

And what's so disturbing about it is the obvious, right under-the-surface thrill he's getting out of his descriptions. All of the books he described are written in a very non-sensual tone, and then he sums them all up sounding like a Penthouse Forum letter.

Great- another leering, pervy Christian who claims to be "upstanding". This guy's article and descriptions are just creepy. He claims the material is soft-core porn, and then goes on to describe it in just those terms. The whole gist of his message is: "These intelligent, non-offensive books give me a huge boner!

"Much of what makes The Office so good comes down to something that's not praised about the show: good, solid sitcom construction. In many ways, a good sitcom is like a good piece of furniture. If it's put together well enough, it doesn't have to be beautiful. "

3-4 really bad songs on Paul's Boutique? Myself and every person who was in my car for two years with that cassette on constant loop would take issue with that, good sir.

Amazing documentary
The argument scenes between Phife and Q-Tip are pretty brutal, I can see why there was some animosity towards Rapaport for what he chose to include. *Spoiler* De La Soul says straight out that Tribe should never perform again after a particularly nasty bout between Phife and Tip.
But this film
