Oh God, there’s a roundabout near work by the new office building and that happens least once a week. It’s been at least 2 years of that crap, and it boggles the mind.

I really appreciate my son enjoyed the old Canadian show “Mighty Machines”. Granted, the opening song is an ear worm that will haunt me to my grave, but these comments show there are worse shows out there.

Lice, now there’s a fear. Our son got it at school last year. Twice. Nothing like family bonding over picking nits.

That’s common for Wisconsin DMV. My driver’s ed teacher warned us about that item specifically because previous students failed for that reason.

HAHAHA! Joanne Fabrics is the well organized, cleanly stocked version of my own personal hell, albeit a local store.

Oh God. B&BW is the one place I refuse to even get near. I want to burn my scent receptors away and I can feel a migraine starting just thinking about it.

Absolutely. The last time I went to a Sears was walking through it at the Mall of America, and it was Walmart with less class and fewer employees.

I hear you.

I quit putting up with that baloney, and the associated shame.

Raising a son to not be a disgusting pig is not difficult, but it does require engagement. Unplug and spend time with you kid to teach them empathy and compassion.

He thaws it just enough to present to the customer, not to room temp. And it is still packaged. I actually trust his knowledge on food safety. It’s the one’s thawing food in the sink that make me cringe about the contamination.

Our office has a food service sales team sharing the kitchen. One sales rep has a huge pot that he uses to thaw meat products prior to a sales presentation. He cleans it religiously and is very careful about proper handling of food.

Here’s your star for the correct use of dingleberries.

Not so much of an “A”, but at least looking for a passing grade. And yes, it is an insane nightmare. 99.999% of those who don’t hand anything all semester, and then hurriedly try to get enough assignment in to pass, will not succeed in the few frantic hours they try.

My wife teaches in a district that has gone to standards based grading, and she is frustrated beyond belief about this very mentality. She cannot mark kids down for not turning in work, they can make up any missed assignments up until 10 days after the end of a semester, and if they have a failing grade, she can only

Exactly what I was thinking.

We have an ‘14 XT with about 50k miles on it. We have not had any problems with it, including no burning oil or CVT issues. It has been reliable for my wife as a daily driver and our family-mobile.

200-220 hp is about right. Our ‘14 XT curb weight is about 3600-3700 lbs, and the Crosstrek is about 400 pounds less weight. At the same HP-weight ratio, it would be perfectly fun. With the same CVT with Sport and Sport Sharp mode, I’d be waiting at the front door to order it. I want a new DD, and that would be

That’s because they sober up once they leave the state. They can’t get the Old-Fashioned done right anywhere else.
