@evanset6001: Well I don't recall calling anyone a "dickbag" or facsimile thereof at any point in my life. So take heart, that's one thing you've got over me.

@Jon: I may be misinformed, but I can't think of any modern console FPS that runs natively at 1080i or 1080p.

@Kyosuke_Nanbu: You do realise, that that image was sarcastic and meant to be taken as a joke? I mean when viewed in context of the episode it's pretty obvious.

@ViperVin: The irony of Crysis 2 is that it probably would've had a smoother framerate if they turned off the crappy looking motion blur.

@TheSkudDestroyer: They figured it was the best way to get hits on a Sunday I suppose.

@BNJMNSXSTN: Since the author wanted to incite another flamewar.

@PapaBear434: Fun fact: That is COMPLETELY untrue, we can perceive changes well above 30 frames per second, and the human eye doesn't work that way.

@Winky: I can't really blame you.

@Mythos: I know where it's from. Doesn't change the fact that it's pretty blatant in forcing an opinion on people. Being one of those amongst the "PC Gaming" I'm fine once it hits 30 frames per second.

@Voldy1: Flamebait article wording is flamebait.

@Silent: That's not how human eyes work dude.

@Dyze: "We all see the world in 24fps anyway."

@Kovitlac: I was reading it as flamebait material as well to be honest. Especially with the line about how we'd all be rioting if it wasn't. I know that personally I've run my fair share of games on PC at 30 FPS or less (Crysis 1 comes to mind) in order to get better visuals.

What's more unnerving isn't so much the post itself, as the fact that everyone else just takes it in stride as a totally naturally topic of conversation.

@Marthian: I have a solution for that.

@M0squ1t0: Yeah the prices those guys are willing to pay can be kind of ridiculous.

@Darksider1972: Actually, that's roughly 20,000 simultaneously. Actual player numbers over the course of a day are much, much higher.

No, it just means I'm making a joke about how many shooters there are. One which the OP gets and apparently, you just get ANGRY about.
