I agree with Rob, and it’s probably 165,000 miles deep, rather than 65,000. With that said, swapping parts in and out of the Merkur is a breeze. Thunderbirds and SVO Mustangs of the same era can be raided for cheap engine parts.
Not bad for a fun project car that just needs a bit of restoration. Good for someone who actually wants this car and can handle the smaller stuff to make it near perfect again.
