Eh, believe it or not, adding an iron block 4, a turbo, intercooler and requisite plumbing, it’s probably within 100 lbs or so of an Al LS1. Plus, the car seems to not have any bodywork, so I’d imagine they’re not going to have much trouble moving weight or ballast around if necessary :)

Agreed, but needs more louvers.

I prefer the hatchback of that era.

Counterpoint: You are incorrect. Theses are one of the best Celicas. Clean lines, and still looks great. The Mustang-aping ones are a close second, though.

I LOVE this generation R8 <3

Boost and/or timing; higher octane rating allows you to do so while simultaneously avoiding engine killing knock.

Do we know when manufacturers, like Dodge, submitted/supplied all required info and test vehicles? EPA makes for an easy target, but if the makers aren’t getting their submissions in until late in the game that might account for some of it too.

manufacturers have been supportive of this additional testing and have adjusted their timing to account for the additional test duration.

Everybody knows that EPA certifications in an election year should be put on hold until the next administration. I’m sure there’s precedence for this...

While not practical for most, I recommend learning to ride a small dirt bike off road 1st, if you live in area this is possible it is absolutely the best way to go in my opinion. Just don’t start with a 1970s Suzuki TS185, that was terrible bike, I still hat that bike 25 years later.

I’m with Stan on this. With 4WD and 4WS, and a big V8 it is a towing dream vehicle. I’d bet that it has been overloaded for many miles. When I saw Wyoming, I was sure it was a full time tow vehicle, but then I realized Michigan, so not as certain, but I would bet there are mostly hard miles on this truck.. You can

Agree 100% with this process. After I finished the course, I had my bike delivered to my house. I didn’t feel comfortable riding in my neighborhood right away so I waited until traffic was basically gone and rode it down the street to a parking lot and practiced there. Kept it at a family friend’s right next door

Not a Compass story but I distinctly remember how bad the virtually identical Caliber interior was. I had to drive them and other rentals around a parking lot for a summer job and in probably 20 total minutes of occupancy in the whole season managed to scratch my hand on the sharp seam around the [rock hard] steering
