I’ve seen Brits use ‘gubbins’ instead of farkle.

$30 grand??!! Yeah, that’s overpaying just a little bit. Like by $10k or so. You’re paying for the mileage, meaning if you drive it the value goes down. So instead you’re stuck with a garage queen that you bought at the top of today’s market value and you pray it gets more valuable. It’s not gonna hit $40k in 5 years.

Meh. Just install this from the factory -

Oh come on. I mean the NSX is a great looking car but those wedges and angles show it’s age like wrinkles, and furthermore I wouldn’t call it beautiful. Striking, aggressive, yes. But not beautiful.

“Any customer can have a Bronco any time he wants so long as it is an F150.”.

Yes, but one could say the same for just about any non-appliance car over 15 years old.

Farkle-any crap you bolt to your bike that someone else deems un-need. (If they have they have the same item, its a needed/ worthy mod.)

Sure, but but that’s a brand new engine. EJ’s and LS’s are cheap and plentiful.

I wouldn’t put a tall iron block straight six in it.

Just means “bike accessories.” Extra lights, luggage racks. Bling. Farkle!

I'm sorry man, I'm usually in your side, but those two photos might as well have been identical for me. If anything, I prefer the digital gauges on the Honda. Also VWs have too many blank switches in their interior; I really really hate blank switch plates.

Solution: replace all those diesels with gasoline models. The end.

you and everyone else on this site needs to hop off the diesel bandwagon. its ugly smelly slow and noisey. performance cars=gasoline. agricultural trucks and tiny gutless hatchbacks=diesel. the enthusiast choice is gas. enthusiasts like revving along with hp and torque. diesel only has torque and gas with turbo now

This car was kind of a dog when it was new. It’s certainly no better now.

In that case, it’s cheaper to just get a E38 740i with a blown engine for $1000 as the base car. the $6000 can get you that S62 and the requisite Getrag S6S

You put a FRAM oil filter on it? You brave.

Harbor Freight is a weird place. They sell awful stuff that is not fit for any purpose, and they sell stuff that punches way above its weight (example: the 44 inch “pro” rolling toolbox, new 72 tooth ratchets). The trick is figuring out which is which.

I hate Chiltons and Haynes. Remove bolts. Take off part. Unplug electrical connections. Replace bolts.

I rebuilt the engine of my 240Z with no more tools than I could fit in a portable plastic tool box. I had a basic set of Craftsman screwdrivers, metric sockets in 3/8” (though I did find a 1/2” Craftsman wrench in the street and picked up a socket or two for the crank bolt and flywheel bolts), a torque wrench I got on
