Especially since there’s hockey on.

Agree’d Tom! My solution was easy. I just stopped watching basketball.

Don’t argue with stupid. It’s never fulfilling

not true, if you run slower than a 10.00 you can run all day at NHRA-authorized tracks. Only after you make a pass into the 9's would you be banned until upgraded.

How to keep dealers from gouging customers on popular models:

Elon Musk finds this story amusing.

Perhaps they complained a million times! To their accountants, to their pool boys, to their in-laws, to their barbers, to their deadbeat stepsons, and perhaps even to their Dachsunds! The number of times they could have complained is truly unbounded! (But I wouldn’t know, because they complained ZERO times to me!).

Not

The lease will generally specify that the property is to be returned in the condition it was rented. Destroying the lawn is not “ordinary wear and tear.” If, at the time they do a final inspection, the lawn is freshly re-sodded, that would be acceptable.

I mean, the grass got torn up over time. Don’t get me wrong, the Raptor took it to a new level (that thing is a huge boat), but every time we took a vehicle back there to turn around, the lawn took a beating.

I don’t understand why people complete fail to even consider your “In due time....” comment. It’s not like you move about tomorrow and left tire tracks in the shape of a giant middle finger in the back yard. They way people react you would think you turned your back yard into an unfixable nuclear waste dump. It’s just

It’s worth noting that this mud pit really just started out as a way to turn around in my backyard (since I’ve got one of those U-shaped driveways—if there’s a car parked there, it’s impossible to turn around anywhere but in my backyard).

Issue is, that backyard has some really, really soft grass, so over time,

And the moral of the story is that you’re going to fill everything back in and reseed, right?

I also don’t get how someone with two Hummer H2s parked in his driveway (perhaps the most worthless vehicle of our time) could possibly think my old Jeeps are junk.

I fail to see how whatever anybody does on their own property is somehow disrespectful to anybody else. If I want to throw a bunch of sand in the backyard and pretend I’m at the beach, I don’t see any disrespect to anybody in that. Is it weird? Sure, but also none of their business.

You could just mind your own business instead of getting worked up about what someone is doing on their property.

Found the neighbor everyone hates

No, they don’t. Your right to dictate things ends at your property line. Unless the mud was literally flying over into their yard (or if he was making a bunch of noise at night, which is generally against the law), it’s none of their business.

I see a lawn, what mud pit?

Seriously why can’t people mind their own goddam business? My neighbor is a similar asshat, and I’ve been toying with the idea of buying an old van, painting it with a big rainbow and “free candy for little boys” and parking it on the street in front of his house, and never moving it.
