All of the coaches, trainers and managers of the team were already being paid as full time employees. That the actual players of the USWNT were thought of as being somehow different was absolutely ludicrous.

This is the NHL’s version of ‘superstar treatment.’ Brad Marchand got away with two slew foots on back to back nights a few months back (despite being a repeat offender who has been suspended for that infraction multiple times!) and now Crosby, another repeat offender, gets away with this.

Especially since your hand will be three inches from the rest of his face when it makes contact with his schnozz.

The blind eye he gets from the refs? He doesn’t get that because he’s white or young. He gets it because he’s been a huge star and the best all-around player in the NHL, at least when he’s healthy.

Crushingly boring? Hardly. Unless you only watch Arizona or Carolina.

And drawing that double-minor with that incredible acting job on that high sticking call late in the 3rd.

If Sidney Crosby didn’t have a white babyface, this would absolutely not be the case. I understand it’s hockey, but still. The blind eye he gets is ridiculous.
