Yeah didnt even know that.
Yeah didnt even know that.
The kids aren’t bad, and certainly are realistic. I actually like Natalie, and sometimes Jonathan
I’ve fallen off the wagon on his Dresden stuff, too, but that is mostly because of the six year gap between books 15 (2014) and 16 (2020).
This is one of the few times I think audience reactions will match with the actual product.
Superman & Lois is really excellent, a high quality show in every way, effects, writing, acting. The kids can be annoying, not surprisingly, but it works in part because you realize their drama and stupidity annoys the adults too & you relate to them struggling to deal with it
Trying to hold it back would be so awkward in a visual medium. I expect “fans” to whine incessantly about what a huge mistake it is to reveal it early anyway (despite 99% of them having not actually read the books).
I really wish the DC side of things had been an actual competitor to the MCU, it is a shame to see glimmering specks of hope here and there that just don’t compare to the overall interconnectedness of the well laid out and rigorously planned opposition.
As the son of a comic book collector, there is nothing more I…
This doesn’t make a lick of sense to me. Shows like Little Demon and Willow were heavily marketed by Hulu and Disney+. Pulling them from the service less than a year after they aired just seems like throwing money away.
I assume that the Flash finale will be fixed by Barry running really fast. The interesting possibility is that he fixes it by doing something incredibly stupid. That would be a nice metamove.
I feel like I should watch this just to see the ending. I got tired of it all back around season 4 or 5, but after seeing a video here or there, I’m convinced I didn’t miss much.
The movies “jumped the shark” the second Vin Diesel caught Letty in the air after being launched from a tank and broke the fall by landing on another car. These movies were never deep or nuanced in any way and I don’t think we should pretend they are.
They could have topped going to space.
What a pitiful existence you must lead.
If Germain says it’s bad, I’m gonna guess this is the best one yet.
They aren’t going to kill Ms. Marvel months away from her movie debut in a random issue of Spider-Man.
Lol no. Commercial art is still art, buddy. It still has value as human expression. It is no more replaceable by AI forgery than any other fotm of storytelling.
50/50 about that. I think they’re experimenting with the binge model for certain shows that may or may not be sure hits a la Muppet Mayhem (which is soooo good) and the timing. Christmas time is always going to be hard for TV watching, streaming or not. If they play up the Daredevil angle in the promos people will…
Or maybe the guy playing Prince Eric in the new Little Mermaid is the top choice to play Superman. Probably Lori Lemaris though.
To be fair the “hey this might not make it past season 1 even if I like it and seemingly many other people like it t0o” concept is not new to Netflix, its been baked into TV from the get go.
It would unironically be the most James Gunn thing in the world to write a Superman script with Lori Lemaris and Krypto the Superdog in it.
