there’s more that you can spoil about a game than just its plot. We all know the plot. I can say that I’m pleasantly surprised at some of the twists and turns the game takes that feel super cool, especially if you’ve played Mario games before. Those things are what we’re talking about here.

If Earthbound and/or Mario Golf ever appealed to you at any point in your life, then Golf Story is a title that can’t be missed. I feel like I can’t advocate for that game enough (even though I have yet to find a person who doesn’t actually like it).

RPGs don’t need magic, only “fantasy genre” tends to soft require magic. The combat system and leveling up, this game was an RPG, the people who would call it an action game, are the ones who simply didn’t care or bother to learn about it before mentioning it in this article? LOL

yeah as much as I thought the combat was completely unfair and had no real path to improve your character other than the linear missions... I somehow played like 40 hours of this game.

Yup! It’s one of my bigger personal game libraries for a console, and I don’t feel like I got any rubbish games. And there are still more I want to hunt down!

They tapped a nerve. For a lot of people, gameplay and portability out weigh graphics (look at 3DS sales). I have played my switch docked less than an hour total in 6 months of ownership.
