I’m waiting for the first animated remake of a live-action remake.

Unfortunately there are far fewer great three hour films than there are great 1.5 hour films.

BatButt.

I really wasn’t sure about Cryer when he was first announced, and his first couple of appearances in Supergirl didn’t do much to convince me, but it didn’t take him long to really settle into it. By the time we got to Crisis he’d become my second favourite live-action Lex.

That’s a playback monitor...

C’mon, dude. You’ve got to give us something more specific than that.

I loved Ragnorok, but found myself wishing it had just been toned down maybe 5% to let the dramatic moments land better. The bit that always leaps out is when they’re gazing at the wreckage of Asgard and Korg chimes in with “Ah, no, those foundations are shot”. That didn’t need a joke. That’s a major moment for both

For a long time I was skeptical that The Flash was ever going to actually happen, given that it went through something like five directors in about three years...

Gotham Knights has committed the sin of being fractionally better than I was expecting by just being dull, rather than Batwoman-level so-bad-it’s-entertaining. At least I could have some fun watching that.

I watched it before Crisis on Infinite Earths. The tone was...odd, for the Flash, definitely strongly influenced by the ‘89 Batman, but it was generally fairly solid. Wesley Shipp is great, and frustratingly it really started to hit its stride by the end. The two Trickster episodes are genuinely brilliant. It looked

I still don’t fully believe that Sony are making a Venom solo film. And I’ve seen the sequel...

When it first started they were talking about seven seasons. If they do get as far as the final book things are going to start to get weird.

I’ve mentioned before here, and possible with you, but my favourite part is when Jordan got his powers, they didn’t make Jonathan resentful, which is the most obvious, most CW, and also most boring way of going. I really thought they were going to and was so happy when they didn’t. Sure, they don’t always see

The kids are nowhere near as bad as they often are in CW stuff. They can be annoying, but at least it feels natural, rather than coming off as false and manufactured. At least for the most part.

16 and 17 (2020)!

I really liked season 5. Non-speedster villain which worked well, and Nora could have ended up being really annoying but I liked her, although I accept I may be biased as I am completely in love with Jessica Parker Kennedy...then the first half of season 6 that was leading to Crisis was OK, but ever since then the

Don’t leave 3 out in the cold! That’s where I really started to take notice of them. Philip Seymour Hoffman was a big part of that though.

Well that’s because you’ve never watched one.

I would not put money on that not happening.
