The scenes inside Dougie's house have reminded me of Rabbits all along.

Coop is married to the law. He's basically a Buddhist priest of law enforcement.

I think the CC got it wrong. The character yelling for "Bing" IS Bing, according to the credits. I heard "Billy," and everyone watching with me did too. So I think Bing was looking for Billy, the guy Andy was going to meet.

But the Rolex is weird, isn't it?

Re: the speculation concerning Richard Horne and Evil Cooper — Richard Horne is a jerk, probably even an evil jerk, but he's also pretty naive and kind of stupid. I can't see Audrey and Cooper (even Evil Cooper) having a stupid kid.

I think only a mensch could have made The Straight Story.

I really hope so, but it could also be preparing us for his character dying offscreen. I personally think it's a way to keep his "aura" or whatever in the show, because his presence was so important to the first run.

Watching Ben Horne not take the bait being offered by a woman was surreal!

Saul is always cutting whatever corners he can in pursuit of getting himself or his clients out of a jam. The problem is that he is always in some kind of jam. Better Call Saul is good at showing how Jimmy puts himself into these jams.

It really didn't come across that way at all.

If that phone call was meant to reference real-life circumstances, then something is going on in ontkeans life that's preventing him from even talking on the phone. Seeing that scene as a burn makes absolutely no sense to me.

Gordon and Albert didn't know she had seen him.

I thought that shock at the settlement figure was an act. And even if it wasn't he had obviously decided to get Irene to take it before he saw that piece of paper. Why else was he there?

Disagree completely. Jimmy won the old people at Sandpiper over by showing them they were being manipulated and exploited for others' gain. Now he is doing EXACTLY the same thing to them. It doesn't matter if they're losing out or not at this point; what matters is that Jimmy's motivation for pulling this con is

The way Jimmy and Kim's big win over Chuck has been slowly transformed into a curse hanging over both of them is just masterful.

I think that's why so much time was spent a few episodes ago on Kim correcting and recorrecting the wording in one of her letters. And also why her behavior with Howard in the restaurant felt a little over-the-top. If Kim has a flaw, it's pride. Her need to do everything herself and on her own terms tips her into

I still think his con was gratuitous. He worked pretty hard on the other old ladies without seeming to worry if that would get back to Erin. Surely he could have used the same roundabout, persuasive technique with Irene.

Yeah, I thought she just zoned out.

No, there isn't. Deadwood was the best show ever.

I didn't think it was ambiguous at all. Jimmy knows the guy's a bullshitter; his sole motivation is the money he knows the guy must have on him.
