The illegals and the KGB officials are all in America (someone else's house) enjoying the benefits of capitalism and western technology (playing with toys). I thought his "hatred" of the neighbors was meant to parallel Elizabeth's diatribe against Reagan, just as his "I'm still a good person" was meant to parallel her

He's 6'4" and has an almost Fred Astaire-like grace to his movements. He would totally turn my head.

Oleg began by emphasizing that he wasn't saying they didn't bear some responsibility for what happened. He was saying that the plans were fake but they weren't plans for "self-destructing" propellors; they were just faulty. The Soviets didn't notice they were faulty because they were putting them on wrong-sized subs

I really enjoy these recaps and sometimes I get carried away and comment. Seems fairly harmless.

The disagreement between Oleg and Arkady about Oleg being involved in the extraction of the scientist was never resolved. The next thing we knew Nina was feeding info to Beeman about the extraction and the fight between Oleg and Arkady. So either the disagreement itself was manufactured or they resolved it by Oleg

Which bugged me because these two have yet to have been able to finish one single conversation with Paige because spy stuff gets so much in the way but they have time for sexy role play disasters?

She always did emphasize her "t"s on this show. Her accent has been consistent.

I don't see that happening. Stan can't offer her any security. She despises him.

I got the impression she actually doesn't want to be a liar.

It isn't completely empty. Arkady is covering for Nina and Oleg has sniffed that out.

I have a feeling a scene or two must have been edited out.

Well this is the tallest group of actors ever assembled for a tv show, then. I'm used to being surprised at how much shorter actors are than how they look onscreen.

I thought it was heartbreaking. When he said "They'll think I'm dead" I felt terrible.

I thought Elizabeth truly didn't know what Paige was talking about. She looked sincerely perplexed to me.

A wannabe gangster who is also trying to go legit? No wonder Vince Vaughan is having such trouble if that's the role he's playing. It doesn't really make sense.

No, it was not for nothing! I thought it was well-put and convincing.

I was joking. I was scared at first that he must have done something terrible but I'm sure it was makeup.

What I meant was that it's impossible to tell if he's the kind of introspective guy who talks like this because he sees a water stain or if this was meant to be a big new thing that he was talking about something like this.

I'm not saying this to be mean but I'm going to start taking a drink every time someone points this out.

I think the problem with Vince Vaughan is that his dialogue was written with the guy he's been type-cast as in mind and the only way to sell it would have been to be uber Vince Vaughan. He thinks he's supposed to act out things like the character's insecurity, but that just makes him feel curiously aware of his
