You are so wrong about the music.

And everyone in Hell's Kitchen is Catholic. But somehow no one has heard the story of the Good Samaritan before.

A brat.

I loved Buffy and Angel too but I don't want a rehash of either of them and at times Daredevil veered too close to that territory for me. I would prefer a reviewer who talked about things like that rather than saying the same exact things week after week about gender issues.

I hate to say it but I think once it became apparent that Rosario Dawson's character wasn't integral to the series everything seemed a lot cuter and a lot less fresh to me. I wasn't aware of it at the time but those early scenes with her and Matt had a totally different, exciting tone that the whole "family at the law

Yes. To someone who hadn't read the comics it was obvious that Ben was going to die. It was only unexpected in this episode because when he made it through the last episode I thought I had just been wrong.

Have one of the guys try to interrupt him with "We've heard this one before." Have them raise their eyebrows at each other when he says the Good Samaritan "loved his city." That's how you show that something is intentional.

Well, it had precedent in that people here explained away that clichéd Bach in his apartment scenes by saying it fit with his character. But I think these writers were just out of their depth on any subject outside the range of pop culture.

Because they acted as if they hadn't heard it before.

The Good Samaritan is the Nessun Dorma of the parable universe.

They are going to be an item is what it meant.

If they're going to use classical music and opera they need to find someone who can find stuff for them because they are obviously just googling.

The music has been laughable from the Bach thing on. Nessun Dorma was about as appropriate as the Chariots of Fire theme.

Yes, we're here, and some of us think this reviewer's handling of the subject is heavy-handed and pedantic.

I don't know. I like that the mask doesn't squash his nose anymore.

I agree. There were flaws in this season but I thought all the things you mention here were daring choices that worked.

I like the red costume, but agree with you about the name.

I liked Owlesly as much as anyone but I was ready for him to go. I think they did a good job of making his assholeness outweigh his wiseass potential at the end. I don't think Kingpin had to remain nuanced. The tension between him and Daredevil doesn't have to be centerstage every episode, every season, does it?

She felt terrible about killing Wesley before Ben got killed.

I think a kind person would have done more to get Ben to look out for himself instead of letting him write that blog. Karen comes off as almost pathologically self-centered to me.
