@endaround: That's not how it works. MS published ME for the 360 because BioWare was not owned by EA at that point. Now that EA owns BioWare, ME2 is being published solely by EA. EA is also releasing a ME iPhone game. ME has always remained the IP of BioWare, not MS. Just because MS published the first game doesn't

@Mathieu Bonin: Except there are lots of people reacting just like that, and earnestly meaning it.

@Southrncomfortjm: I really wish I could buy it on Steam. Or maybe activate the CE later on Steam. I don't like having to deal with disc checks and I'd rather keep my library consolidated on Steam than use D2D (which also is notorious for patching problems).

@BONERJAM: Regardless of how I felt about the game (I liked it a lot, actually), I thought the costume and character design was really great. The outfits had some really sleek design aesthetics.

@Cpryd001: Bingo. We have a winner!

@Meocene: Payload and CP for me. I do the Arena thing every now and then, but CP is by far my favorite. CTF is when I find another server.

@Elrinth: Dark Legions was the game that I always wanted to try out, but never got to. By the time I had saved up enough money doing summer chores, my local Babbages had stopped stocking it. :(

@oldtaku: It wasn't that bad. Yeah, the isometric view screwed things up a bit, but modem play was awesome!

@SuicidalEarthworm: It's probably a 360 Arcade (ie: downloadable) game. Since they're smaller, they tend to not be as shiny and glitzy as full-on AAA productions. However, look at Blood Bowl. Sure, it doesn't look like the most amazing game out there, but it's insanely fun to play and, in the end, I'd rather have a

@Diamond_Sutra: I don't know about 2004-2006, but there was a VGA Archon released in 1994 called Archon Ultra. I'm looking at the box right now, in fact...

@j00s: Day 1 paid DLC, though? And people are justifying this?

@bakura: It seems like it plays more like Baldur's Gate and Knights of The Old Republic.

@rpm285sm: "For everyone bitching about it coming out on day one: How the hell do you know it was taken out of the game to be sold as DLC? You dont, period, end of story."

@MurlocSniper: If you ever played NWN, then you might be able to view this a bit differently. Think of it as premium modules. If not, well, read up on NWN and how they marketed that.

@aaronsusername: Considering the value of the PC version, with toolkit and a rabid fanbase? Seems fairly reasonable if you're willing to pay the premium and soak up all that is Dragon Age.

@ghost4: Yeah, very few. Like, only maybe 80% of the people I play PUGs with on L4D feel that way. And, in case you're wondering; no, the vast majority of them are not members of the boycott group.

I hope some of that advertising and hype building includes talking about interoperability between L4D and L4D2 on the PC.

@Str8_Jihadin: I was a bit disappointed. I thought one of the Kotaku staff had made a recent appearance on AoTS. :/

@deanbmmv: I very much agree with your sentiments. Going to FullSail and having "games" next to "art" (just as an example) isn't going to make you look any better than someone who has a BFA in design from Boston University. The thing that matters the most is the skills, aka: your portfolio.

@Numanoid: Yeah. I mean, how do people think John Carmack, Mark Rein, Peter Molyneux, Gabe Newell, and so on got jobs in the gaming industry? Oh, wait... nevermind...
