A quick word to the tons of "f-you Ubi!" posts about the game being delayed:

@Xaero: I'm sorry, but I can't help but disagree. The people who would buy the PC version for all of its perks are still going to buy it for the PC. I don't think Ubisoft ever looked at the PC as their main market for Assassin's Creed I nor for AC II. It's obvious that consoles is their main market for this game

@Steinin: "Does this really have any actual effect other than to piss PC-users off?"

@CockroachMan: Yeah, because if it had been on time those exact same people wouldn't have dug up some other lame excuse to pirate it anyways.

@Stymie99: Strange. I blame Michele Bachmann.

@Hamster Of The North: And they did it to the gays. Where do you think the pink triangle came from?

@Draco_2k: I never ascribed to whether it was "good" or not. It just is. I can understand Germany's reasoning for it and that reasoning is nowhere near as nefarious as many project it to be.

@carvelo: A little, yes. A bit of a leap, you might say. Although the link of intense bigotry is certainly there.

@Kenny: Mmmmm, I love colons!: The "sweep it under the rug" accusation has been around for a long time. It really doesn't hold much weight, as it's a matter of perspective. For the Germans the intent isn't to hide Nazi Germany nor to ignore it. It is to deny an ability for a neo-Nazi revival. That is why the swastika

@gipmah: It was more of a concern that L4D would be shuffled aside while L4D2 was being tweaked and ironed out and TF2 continues to grind towards its final updates. I'm glad to see Valve continuing to support L4D, too, and (as an avid customer) I appreciate the time and effort that Valve puts in to make their games

@TheRuiner: Scooby Doo & Graffix it is... :)

@ARCH_27: L4D hasn't updated for me. My last L4D update was August 21st. Didn't see anything on the Steam News feed about it, nor is there anything on the L4D blog.

@ch0mpchomp: Considering he had over $30,000 worth of stolen property, I think it woks out to being a $26,000 win for the public.

@mfwahwah: Typically in a drug raid like this, it is presumed that all possessions are bought with or facilitated by drug money. Your car, house, everything. If convicted, it is seized and sold at auction or (for sports cars and boats) sometimes co-opted for use by the seizing police force.

@TheRuiner: "While some detectives hauled out evidence such as flat screen televisions and shotguns[...]"

Wait, wait... "Half-Life 2 is a shining example of how to do sound effects right"? Um... okay.

Needs DJ Krush and Coldcut. That is all.

@Clive Bavels: Y'know all those mean jokes about people with MBAs? They apply very well to Kotick.
