@digiorgio21: It's not just about being offended. It's about how purely obnoxious and trite this whole thing is. It's about how it colors the entire industry, that has for YEARS, tried to step out of this shadow of being a delinquent and emotionally immature medium into one of mainstream and actual artistic

@digiorgio21: It's the tone. The hack n slash element is fucking STUPID. You want to make it somewhat faithful to the book and still make a great game? Make it an adventure game. Dante's inferno would have been perfect to showcase an adventure game revival, but instead they went with the most generic and lowest common

@Ladi: No, one would not suffice. I demand at least two and a donkey. And a cart of banana pudding. And a gallon of coolwhip. And a barrel of barleywine. And some body glitter.

@ReynaldoRiv: GameStop ran them out, period. Funcoland, Babbages, and EB are all owned by GameStop now. Babbages and Funco were allowed to keep their name for a while, but GameStop later folded them under the GameStop name brand. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the same happens to EB.

@nerdrage32: Personally, I don't bother with any of those. GameStop sucks ass and their only selection is MMOs and Starcraft. EB Games charges too much. Funcoland is non-existent.

@Bkore: I can't speak from personal experience, as I didn't bother with the open beta, but several people I've heard from really enjoyed it.

@madog: Exactly. It's a convenient way to regulate the industry without government intervention and without the possible risks of the government quashing free speech rights for artistic statements.

@StormTec: More like a federal stature.

@Jennacide: The ESRB is exactly like the MPAA. Both are volunteer regulation committees that pass non-legally binding ratings for products. If you don't want your movie to be rated by the MPAA, you don't have to. If you don't want the ESRB to rate your game, you don't have to. The ratings have no legal binding

@SpishackCola is The Black Squiggly!: "If you're that busy that you can't call a so-called friend to chat there's something wrong."

@BeerManMike: You obviously know nothing about GWAR.

@OW-Holmes:Enemy of R.O.A.C.H.: As a Richmond, VA native, born and raised, I am pleased to see GWAR getting so much love. Though, for years, the only way you could see GWAR in Richmonad was when they did their RAWG shows, where they dressed as cops and there was no blood or anything.

@Ratosai: Ooh! The plot has thickened! ;p

@dsrtstorm: The setting is perfectly realistic. The premise, on the other hand...

@CorduroyTurtle: Hello straw man! Would you like to accompany me to see the Wizard of Oz? I hear he can get you a brain!

@funkonaut: Valve has a lot on their plate as it is. The PS3, while providing a powerful core, is difficult to program for. Not only that, but you sink resources and manpower into learning a system that cannot and will not provide any benefit for any other platform. With the PC and 360, you learn tricks and bits that

@(Zombie) Goldwings: If by "that one game" you mean Soldier of Fortune, do I ever! The better thing was those rare times when you off-blasted them in the head and they only had half a face. Good times, good times...

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: I'm really hoping they work backwards compatibility or interoperability for L4D2. If not for the 360 version (which would be somewhat understandable), at least for the PC version where there is no reason such a limitation should be in place.
