This would have made a really good pre CGI movie.

I think you're the first person to successfully diagnose what's wrong with the Simpsons. Currently they seem to be in some sort of weird holding pattern where they continually undermine the shows continuity while simultaneously not actually changing anything. So with that in mind their only two options (like you said)

Thank god that didn't happen. Hmm, did they at least ask Wyatt Cenac or Jordan Klepper?

Which isn't nearly as overrated as HIMYM.

I think most people confused The Weather Channel with that channel that always shows you your local forecast.

I take it back. Its not kinda depressing that's just straight up depressing.

Discovery Channel at 62% is kinda depressing. That along with all of those other reality tv channels would be among the first I'd drop.

I understand them wanting to make more Spider-Man, but why reboot? Why wouldn't they just try to make a good 3rd movie with AG?

I…I, uh…uh, um…why? Like seriously why are we rebooting Spider Man yet again? Why can't we let the Andrew Garfield version breathe a little bit before we starting rebooting things?

I'm 23 and I still buy DVDs. Way cheaper than buying Blu-ray discs and more of a collection element than buying them digitally.

Blu-ray is still around solely because of cinephiles and its superior HD. The average movie watcher doesn't care about that. Hell, some people watch entire movies on their phone.

Matt Berry being a perfectly hilarious Matt Berry brings this up to a B+ for me.

Best episode since Jake and Amy broke up with their G/BF.

I actually didn't care for The Middle as much. I thought the Sue storyline, and the Mike and Frankie date night storylines were really predictable. I really liked Brick and Axl's barbecue sauce story until Mike came in and squashed it. The episode definitely had its moments like the initial finding out that the

Really its only Fox that can't seem to make a good late night show.

I don't think it's because the episode was actually that bad. I think it's because it made the already terrible continuity even worse.

Well if they would have aged properly the fact that it was film would have made perfect sense.

They constantly do things that ruin the shows continuity but then give us some easy call back and expect us to be ok with everything. I agree it feels like they don't even try half the time.

Its like Showtime aims to be HBO, would love to settle for FX/AMC, but wind up being a slightly better version of USA/TNT. I get the feeling that Showtime is like this because CBS doesn't have a good middle ground cable channel for shows that won't quite work on network tv, but aren't quite good enough for premium

Its definitely not the right answer. I very much agree with Thomas. It was a cheap cop out that offered no character development to either Frankie or Brick. I mean all that buildup and the viewers were left with such a cliched answer.
