I’m assuming The Onion is already penning an article where the creators of a fictitous animated show realize their mistake in the same way. They solve the problem by making the character White, and praise themselves for their solution while scolding themselves for their prior insensitivity.

I blame the home schooling.

I am slightly cardio gifted and was playing once a week basketball, so I didn’t start from nowhere. But I’m fully middle-aged now so I don’t have the natural youth gifts of speed and recovery.

I run for about 3 weeks a year to get in shape for a Tough Mudder. But ever since the gyms closed, I’ve been on a twice a week running kick.

Put in context: When someone wrote a long and funny thing on Craigslist back in the day, did you immediately roll your eyes and think (or type back) “Someone sure is trying to make Best Of”. If so, you were always a crank.

My daughter was a hair puller from 7 months to about age 5. She would rip out her hair and use it to tickle her lip as she sucked her thumb. Stopping the thumb suck stopped the hair pulling. It finally grew back just in time for kindergarten and she’s stopped ever since (1.5 years now)

And.....it was the flu! Went home from work early on Friday and except for a visit to the MD I never left bed until Sunday morning. Back at work today (Tuesday). Wonderful virus, can’t imagine how it would have been if there wasn’t a “help” from the vaccine.

From what I’m feeling today, 45% effective was not effective enough for me this year.

A word on milk: Skim milk should be criticized.  It takes out everything that makes milk milk, and leaves behind the sugar.
