Rented a Corvette in Vegas from a place called Corvette Mike. 145 mph with the top off out in the desert.

So this was a post about how asshole people got what is coming to them, not let me tell you how I’m an asshole. Anyone who messes with anyone else’s car, no matter the circumstance, has now elected to be the asshole in the story.

So what if, just what if she was there to pick up her disabled mother, who was in the restroom, or works in the back, and she forgot to put the permit on the mirror? Now you’ve been an asshole to someone who was trying to help someone. You don’t really know, do you? Be careful about being an asshole. If you saw her

So can we please, as a country, stop looking for excuses to get offended? I don’t think a hot rod shop in France knows much nor cares much about the KKK. They just thought it was cool, and they weren’t looking to offend anyone (other than Porsche 911 enthusiasts). Just stop.

My understanding is the transmissions in those are total pieces of crap and extremely spendy to fix.

Actually taxing the Tesla owners actually makes sense. Roads are paid for by gas taxes, Teslas (and other electric cars) don’t use any gas, so they don’t pay any taxes.

Another insurance guy here. Just think about this: the guy’s argument is that his supercar, that he rents out to the general public on weekends, is as clean as the one at the local Audi dealer. Um, no it isn’t. It’s a RENTAL CAR. If that ever hit the Carfax the value would plummet. He needs to take what they are

It’s not just that. Those old cars didn’t have crumple zones, collapsing steering columns, hell they didn’t even have seat belts. Having the motor removed just means one less thing getting pushed through the firewall into the passenger cabin. Everything you need to know watching one of these videos is in the

Where does everyone else park? Is he the only guy in town with a car??

I think that pretty much sums up the last eight years. Maybe Trump won’t do any better, but at least he’s going to try.

You mean like aircraft fuel can’t melt steel beams in high rise buildings?

Not included in the breakdown is the cost of the salvage. A car like that can be worth upwards of $100,000 in salvage.

They could be theft recoveries. Those typically get sold with a clean title. Or they could be flood cars. Holy crap, can you imagine buying a Tesla flood car?!?

Opinions? So this has been crash tested and you can show us we are all wrong? See it works both ways. Find ONE engineer that says this is ok.

Not only that, but if this guy ever sells the car, and someone gets hurt or killed in it, there is video evidence on the internet about how this guy hacked the car back together. It’s lawsuit time. There is a reason insurance companies total this stuff.

When you are finished with that check out Insurance Auto Auction. They are Copart’s main competitor, and actually sell more cars.

Except you don’t have to be a citizen to get a college ID. That would be the problem.

That’s why both KC and Denver have outdoor stadiums. Playing two California teams in their division, it’s the added home field advantage. Denver doubles down with the elevation.
