I don't believe there was any mention of that in the police report.

That would have been a shit ending. Would have made no sense (how does someone "find" a gun in a police car?) and would not have fit into the intricate tapestry of the show (mostly, because Lou is alive and well in season one, which is set years after season two)..
I fully expected that Peggy, at the end of Lou's story about the pilot jumping at the last moment to escape the wreckage of his helicopter, would open the car door and throw herself out onto the highway to escape the wreckage of her life.
I've been watching this show since it began, but I just have one question:
I feel that the extremely Pollyanna-ish tone is not really congruent with a show that basically deals in crime and violence.
I, for one, wish this show DID have a little bit more Jessica Jones-style edge to it. It is so supremely Pollyanna that I feel like I'm getting a cavity just by watching it.
So you know about the Val Johnson thing, yet you still call the UFO incident in the context of this show "Absurd?"
This is set in the late 70's/early 80's, right? I can remember during that time there seemed to be an unusually high number of UFO sightings/abductions/cattle mutilations reported in newspapers and on TV newscasts. Seemed like there was a different report coming out at least once a month or so…
"I think Mike just proved he's the smartest villain on television ever."
"Too many city slickers, sorry."
Where Alicia is concerned, I see her set up as a rival to Ryan for Alvey's attention and focus, rather than Lisa. As you pointed out, Alvey already shut Alicia down in the romance department, and Lisa seems to not really care what Alvey does with his free time these days. So that leaves Ryan as the only person who is…
"He lied to get consent"
And do you realize that you are like, writing, in like, upspeak? In your punctuation?
No. No, it's not kind of like rape. It's a kind of lie. And it's a kind of laziness. But it's not remotely like a rape.
"The Eleventh Commandment? Thou shalt not write another season of AHS."
"Nate is "in the closet" but he knows his sexuality and is not exactly tormenting himself over it."
I get the feeling that Sean might be sexually attracted to Alvey, and is overcompensating with the brothel trips and trying to impress Alvey with his investments and shit. Not that he's gay…but he seems to be way into Alvey in a co-dependent sort of way.
"Frank kind of sucks. But he’s got a wild set of cheekbones…"
I'm guessing that the child who lost his life to save the prince will be Uhtred's son.
Well, they are millenials, so…
