Wow, I never thought I'd see …in the Woods mentioned on AV Club! out of all the avant-garde black metal-inspired stuff in the '90s (Solefald, Arcturus, Dodheimsgard, Fleurety, etc.) …in the Woods were my favorite. their music is great regardless of genre though.

Mitch had gotten horribly sloppy, and videos I've seen from the last few weeks showed Bob too wasted. But Kevin March was a great addition and was always on point. I thought the shows I saw this summer with him were the best reunion shows.

Hahaha… I'm guessing you watched the 10 minute YT clip? That has a lot of the highlights, minus his hilarious David Schwimmer rant (which was before things got ugly) and him trying to start both Fair Touching and I Am a Scientist for a second time in the same show.

Agreed 100% with this. UFO, Bears, MJ and Cool Planet are all really great records Cool Planet takes some time to grow, but it's so good. The live songs were great too.

The reunion was a blast. I saw them seven times, each show was great (the two I saw this summer with Kevin March were the best, he's a solid drummer) and I really like 4.5 of the 6 albums they released.

He probably is annoyed with Bob, but someone in the crowd also threw beer on him several times. You can see him give someone the finger and yell at them during the first part of A Salty Salute… if you can make it that far into the video.

Don't forget the part where he TWICE introduces songs they just played. They actually did play I Am a Scientist twice in about a 15 minute span.

I was watching that stream and it went from pretty good to a disaster. I've seen them seven times since they reunited and Bob was never CLOSE to that smashed. Maybe it had something to do with why they broke up, either directly or just because it's a sign Bob wasn't having as much fun and didn't give a shit.
