Seriously? Give me a break.
Seriously? Give me a break.
By ‘pull the trigger’ I hope you mean shooting it in its engine block.
But could you put together an equivalent example for $15k? I’m thinking no.
At 15k I don't think he's marked up nearly enough to get mod money back, looks to be way more sunk into it. I'd also want a very thorough inspection done, but from what I see I think it's a NP.
but those fantastic capitalist-fighting unions only fight for the people!
It’s borderline not fine. When I lived in NYC my wife and I weekended in the Catskills at a place we own almost exactly 100 miles from the city. Over the years there have been a couple of times we have needed to schlep things there and back on the same day. Sure, we’d probably be able to plan it such that we had a…
Two years of training! Either she isn’t human or she is on something.
until there are publicly available numbers for the Taycan.
I don’t think I understand your point. Range is something that’s important to EV owners - and it is something that’s going to be brought up when various owners go EV ‘magazine racing’. And, yeah, it’s a pretty big trump card for Tesla owners. Like: “Oh, that’s cool you have a Porsche, my S was cheaper, goes as fast,…
Furthermore, there isn’t anything other than bullshit about range vs. reliability.
But that’s partially because Porsche is not willing to make the trade-off between range and reliability that Tesla is, as contributor Mack Hogan has explained.
When Tesla screws up: Jalopnik goes out of its way to remind people how bad of a misstep it is. Repeatedly.
Its fine for day to day sure. The problem would be if you want to flog it around a track like Porsche says its for. You’d be lucky to get to the track flog it for more than 10 minutes and still be able to get to a nearby offsite charger. Your best bet is finding a track with RV plugs to charge level 2 onsite.
Here we are arguing over the legitimacy of a company who provides a way for people who want to drive to earn money doing it without significant barriers of entry all the while there is a huge push for autonomous vehicles and yet we praise it. We being the Jalopnik community and staff.
Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I think it’s trying to overread a bit too much on a single thing... all fun though. Perhaps it helps if you understand modern japanese culture a bit more, so I’ll just ramble a bit like I always do.
Are there tho? I’ve driven an OG mini with barely 50bhp but it’s a (slightly stressful) hoot! I drove a 68bhp Toyota Aygo for 3 years and it was great! Granted it barely weighed more than my carry on luggage but still. The roads in Europe are easier for exploiting small power, manual ‘box and a light car. I’m sure the…
EVERY car model gets fatter with each iteration.
and pine for the AMG version over in the States
Thank god we don’t live in a better civilization.
