The whole campaign was a lot more than just photos. They filmed driving scenes to use in commercials that they played on TV and even before some movies. I agree that the hatch should have been brought over and not just sedan, but I don’t agree that scion is the only reason we have he Mazda2 in any form.

2nd gen xB is mostly popular with the wrong demographic toyota actually wanted, and not popular enough with the people who liked the 1st gen xB, which was so much more popular and purchased compared to the 2nd gen.

the entire point of scion originally was to send the quirky toyota models that the USA would otherwise not get.

are most of them actually painted black though? all the ones I’ve seen look like it’s just black vinyl, I have also seen people remove it to show the painted part underneath.
