That was the first scene from the show I've seen without having a goddamn clue what it was even about. I was hooked in a second.

I just found it hilariously bad, to be honest. I'm glad I didn't see it in the theater because I legit burst out laughing at some scenes and the god-awful dialogue. All in all it's a damn mess of a movie but I can't deny it was at least pretty entertaining.
Apparently Top of the lake is coming back this year as well? Fucking finally.
"nothing but good-to-great performances since"
Stop watching things and go get my new season of The Knick ready, you piece of trash
He's always looked a lot older than he really is, in my opinion.
He'll always be that asshole from Dead Like Me to me.
I usually REALLY enjoy his work despite its flaws but that movie is just insufferable. You could give Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums and Fantastic Mr. Fox a shot, imo.
"fairly talented"
I wouldn't go that far.
I love this comment because part of my immeasurable hatred towards Lena's god forsaken show is that while HBO was throwing Girls on my face over and over and people were going on about "yess a show with well written WOMEN" Enlightened, which was infinitely better written and acted was treated like their goddamn ginger…
I'd much rather see Sam Rockwell fucking Sam Rockwell.
What woman WOULDN'T?
He doesn't sleep. He just dreams.
Likable? Marty Hart was a shit husband and father and as much as i loved him Rust could be pretty insufferable. S1 worked because 1) the leads just had great chemistry for obvious reasons; MM's gave, in my opinion, the best performance of his career and Woody brought some well needed humanity to Marty's character 2)…
I recently rewatched the series and damn, that cinematography and the soundtrack were really something else. And he never looked as good as he did with that 95 hairpiece.
Easily one of my favs of the decade. Goddamn I LOVE that movie.
I know i'm the minority here but damn, I really am sick of seeing Gosling everywhere.
Glad to see Green Room so high on the list
The Social Network (come @ me)
Same. They all look like very long, very expensive Power Ranger episodes to me.
